Throughout June and July, the Autism Dogs Charity team are visiting CHS to work with a group of selected students, helping them to learn skills such as dog walking/grooming and also talking to them about different dog breeds. The human team are joined by a team of wonderful, friendly and relaxed dogs, who also act as therapy animals, helping to reduce anxiety. The two dogs who have been working with students so far are Anook, an Alaskan Malamute and Henry, an Italian Spinone.

Thank you to all our human and canine visitors, who are are making a real difference for our students. It's been an absolute pleasure to work with them and welcome them all back to 91精品 for the first time after first meeting the team when they exhibited at our Careers Fair in March

Caroline, who runs the company with husband, Andrew, is a former student of 91精品 as is her daughter, Tate, who is now a vet. She said that it's really enjoyable being able to come back to her old school and work with current students.

Caroline and the majority of others who work for autism dogs are autistic themselves, so have a wealth of knowledge about the benefits of dog therapy for those with autism.
