Our annual Year 10 Summer Market fundraiser, this year in aid of , will run from 10am - 2pm on Wednesday 6th July.
Mr Ainsley, our Year 10 Guidance Team Leader, has challenged the year group to raise £1,200 and has promised to shave his head if they achieve this target! This shouldn't be too difficult though, as there'll be loads of competitions and activities for students and staff including face painting and hair braiding, golf, basketball and crossbar challenges, a penalty shoot-out, a darts competition and even a water fight!
There will also be plenty of delicious food and drink on offer - milkshakes, ice cream, cakes, sweets, candy floss and doughnuts!
To avoid overcrowding, visits will be staggered throughout the day. Year 9 students will be able to visit the Fair in Period 2, Year 8 in Period 3 and Year 7 in Period 4. Sixth Form students and staff can visit at any point in the day when they are free.
Please remember to bring any spare change you have and help us to achieve our target for this wonderful charity, set up in memory of one of our former students.
