Year 12 English Literature students are studying Shakespeare's King Lear and, to help give them a greater understanding of the structure of the play and help with their recall of events, they are employing some very 'novel' tactics!
They produced a bar chart where the height of each bar represented the evaluation of the scene’s importance. Naming each scene on the x axis helped to consolidate knowledge of the tragic arc and order of events.
The next step was to add key quotations.
