Congratulations to our eight Year 8 students who graduated from the Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service RESPECT course on Tuesday 28th March:
- Darcy O, Mia F, Kitty G, Faye L, Georgia KY, Harry T, Haydn F and Jayden JP.
The aim of the course is to help young people improve their self-esteem and encourage them to grow in confidence. It is led by the Youth Engagement staff and Firefighters at Holmes Chapel Fire Station, who share their expertise and act as strong, positive and caring role models.
Throughout the course, students are encouraged to:
- Embrace challenges
- Share their ideas
- Maximise their potential
- Reflect on their experiences
- Develop confidence
- Improve self-esteem
- Work effectively with others
This is the second cohort of CHS students to graduate from the course and we would like to say a huge thank you to the Holmes Chapel Firefighters and Youth Engagement Officers. Once again our students have really benefitted from this opportunity and learned a great deal about themselves and working with others.
