It was European Day of Languages on Tuesday 26th September. At Congleton High, Modern Foreign Languages students in Years 7 to 10 got the opportunity to participate in a "Why study languages" Zoom session organised by North West Universities, including University of Manchester, University of Liverpool and University of Chester. The event included a motivational talk led by university languages staff, a "Languages can change you!" panel, with university language student ambassadors, and a follow-up Q&A session.
The students found it really interesting and helped many of them make the decision to continue their language studies at GCSE and beyond.
