In February, our Year 8 DT students took part in the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) Faraday Challenge. This annual competition sets a real world challenge for students aged 12-13 and helps to inspire them to consider extending their studies of STEM subjects and explore related careers.
Our students really enjoyed learning new skills and creating prototypes to address the National Highways and Rees Jeffreys Road Fund themed challenge. Congratulations to Team 6 - Lauren W, Riley S, Anna T, Ava B and Alex L - who took top spot at the end of the challenge.
