Four of our students, Sadie, Sally, Poppy and Lauren, took part in the Senior Girls category of the English Schools Swimming Association Regional Qualifier Gala in Blackpool in October.

In the 4 x 50m Medley relay, Sadie swam backstroke, Poppy swam breast stroke, Lauren swam butterfly and Sally swam freestyle. They were quicker than their entry time in a strong race and field.

All four students swam personal bests in the 4 x 50m Freestyle relay, finishing an impressive fourth out of sixteen teams.

The top thirty teams for each age group go through to the final, so we are waiting eagerly to hear if our team qualify for the Freestyle relay. Watch this space!
